CARRIE GIVHAN, President
Carrie Givhan is the Safety Training Program Specialist at SEPTA, managing the Safety Training Contract for the Authority to help essential transportation workers perform their jobs safely. Carrie specializes in collaborative efforts at work and within her community to achieve equity. Carrie was the inaugural President for SEPTA’s Diversity, Equity and Belonging (DEB) Council, has served as past COMTO Philadelphia Secretary, and currently represents her community as the Ward 4-1 Committee Person in Lower Moreland Township for the Montgomery County Democratic Committee.
Flora castillo, CHIE, 1st vice president
Flora Castillo is a nationally recognized health care executive, mobility and public transportation thought leader dedicated to improving individual's quality of life and building leaders at all levels. An experienced strategist, policymaker and business development executive, Flora is President of Pivot Strategies, LLC., a consulting firm serving the transportation, infrastructure, health insurance industries and its related professional services firms.
Kenyon benson, 2nd vice president
Kenyon serves as the Director of Administration and Finance for The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). He has been in the transportation industry for over 20 years and within that time he has learned that change and opportunities can happen by consistent action and representation. His professional goal is to be an advocate for himself as well as other stakeholders within the transportation industry, so that everyone is aware of the possibilities that are available to them.
DAIYON KPOU, CORRESPONDING SECRETARY
With over eight years of experience in public health, Daiyon enjoys work that improves how we all participate in our society. After graduating from Penn State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Bachelor of Arts in African Studies, and a minor in French Studies, she embarked on a journey spanning internships in HIV prevention, environmental protection, and infectious disease prevention.

Corey Bell, a dynamic professional with a passion for transportation sustainability, boasts an impressive career spanning various domains. With 7 years of experience in City Council, Corey meticulously reviewed requests for ITEF expenditures for capital improvements to parks, rec centers, libraries, and playgrounds. He currently serves as Senior Planner at the City's Office of Transportation, where he successfully manages design project budgets of more than $400k.

With a rich and diverse career spanning business development, marketing, and community engagement, Lorena has consistently delivered impactful results.
vanessa nedrick, financial secretary
Vanessa Nedrick is a Principal and Regional Manager of Remington and Vernick Engineers (RVE). She is the first African American female partner and shareholder in the company’s 123-year history. In the last four (4) years she has opened and managed two new offices for the company, one in Yardley, Bucks County, and the other in Allentown, Lehigh County. She graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Civil Engineering and MS in Engineering Management. Vanessa is a licensed professional engineer in PA, DE, and MD.
daniel villanueva, IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
Mr. Villanueva serves as AECOM’s Northeast Rail Transit System’s lead and is responsible for the firm’s Rail Transit Systems discipline and is the Manager of the Rail Transit System Department of the Philadelphia Office. Current clients include Amtrak, SEPTA, Houston Metro and Caltrain.
