Awarded over $50,000 in scholarship and had keynote speaker Michael A. Carrol, PE., Deputy Managing Director for Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (oTIS).

Chapter members attended COMTO’s National Conference in Ft Lauderdale Florida and received the “Chapter Of The Year Award” and “Community Engagement Award,” on behalf of our members.

Hosted our 23rd Annual Scholarship Golf Outing raising over $100,000 for to help with the 2023 scholarships. Event Honorary Chairs were Api Appulingham, Deputy Director of Aviation, Capital Development and Keith J. Brune, Acting CEO and Chief Operating Officer, Philadelphia International Airport.
September 29th - 30th, 2022
Participated in COMTO’s National and the Congressional Black Caucus “View From The Hill” and joined other chapters in legislative visits in Washington DC.
October 4th, 2022
Hosted a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration and honored Ralph Peña, Emilio Tapia and Carlos Vasquez, three SEPTA leaders who are keeping the region moving. SEPTA CEO Leslie Richards and Chief Officer, Bus Operations Chris Valentin joined in the presentation.

Held a Thanksgiving basket drive and raised enough money to giveaway 100 Thanksgiving baskets for families in need in our communities.

Hosted FTA Deputy Administrator Veronica Vanterpool as a guest speaker and were joined by SEPTA CEO Leslie Richard and Pittsburg Regional Transit CEO Katherine Kelleman.
